Ken started playing guitar at the age of 9. By the age of 13 he was in his first band, of many to follow, with a group of older high schoolers. He then went on to start teaching out of his house while in high school. At about that time he realized he also had a passion for the art of audio recording and started a recording studio. By now Ken knew his career was destined to be in the music field. After teaching a couple years at a local music studio he then started a music studio of his own in the year 2000 that is now know as Alpha Omega Music Studios offering music lessons, recording, sales and more. By this this time Ken had joined the acoustic rock band "Meet the Day" as the lead guitarist. "Meet the Day" was fortunate enough to have the opportunity to record at the world famous "Suns Studios". This was grand prize for winning a major battle of the bands at a national level through "Jillians".
Ken's business has grown much larger than himself fueled by a vision much larger than himself.
As a multi-instrumentalist and vocalist, the fundamental concept of "many sounds: one voice" has reoccurred and resonated throughout Kue's musical education and discovery. Kue has earned many top honors as an instrumentalist, vocalist, and writer / arranger. His time spent studying under Don Thompson and Pat La Barbera at the elite Humber College in Toronto, Canada; as well as his education at the world-renowned Berklee College of Music have both significantly influenced not only his musical style, but also his approach to professional writing. It is his passionate pursuit of balance in musical expression which makes Kue a uniquely significant asset in all of his musical collaborations. Currently Kue is working in the New York and Boston areas and has projects with urban rock band Abandend, Boston based Project DCQ, The University of Toronto Gospel Choir, international recording artists Amanda Brown and Dianne Moore.
Kue has composed and musical directed the Off-Broadway shows The Princess & the Golden Yam and 19 Secrets from New York playwright and executive producer Dr. Cynthia Stevens.
Rachel Keiter is a professional vocalist in her mid-twenties and recent graduate of the world-renowned Berklee College of Music. Rachel grew up in Charleston, SC where she began singing in church at a very early age. Rachel was about twelve years old when she started taking voice lessons and writing and recording original songs. As a teenager, Rachel learned to play the piano and guitar and continued to write and perform her own songs in churches and other small venues around town. In the fall of 2006, Rachel moved to Boston, Massachusetts to attend Berklee on a vocal scholarship, where she was able to study and perform with some of the best singers and musicians in the music industry. While in school, she also worked with one of Berklee's community outreach programs and spent two semesters teaching individual and group voice lessons at the Boys and Girls Club in Dorchester. Having graduated from Berklee with a Bachelor's Degree in Professional Music, Rachel is educated and experienced in various vocal styles and genres of music. In addition to school, Rachel has over five years of experience as a regularly gigging musician, which allows her to offer valuable insight to the aspiring singer who is really serious about pursuing a career in music. She is eager to share the knowledge and skills she acquired with other aspiring singers and musicians. Rachel teaches beginner piano, guitar, and self-accompaniment skills in addition to vocal instruction.
Jozef attended "Kodolanyi Janos Institute" in Budapest, Hungary, and Academy of Music in Nis, Serbia. Unfortunately, they couldn't offer much with contemporary music so he looked for another foundation to aid him with modern music and ended up attending Berklee College of Music in Spring of 2000. There he had an incredible time learning and playing with some of the worlds best musicians. Since 1992, he has performing live with bands, and that's what I like to do the most. He has also performed in many European countries as well as more than fifteen US states. Currently Jozef is teaching and performing in Boston metro area for the last 8 years... It's just something he cannot resist. We are excited and honored to welcome him to the family of AOMS.
