Music Instruction

Alpha Omega Music Studios strives to offer the best in music instruction for guitar, bass, drums, vocal, piano & more! WE have helped many musicians/ artists reach their musical goals. Now its your turn to reach yours!

Depending on what level you’re at & your preference of style, one of our instructors will be carefully chosen to work with you for optimal results! He or She will customize the lessons based on your goals.

Topics of study include the following:

Chords and scales
This includes basic to more complex chord studies that will give you the chords needed to play your favorite songs. You'll even be able to write your own songs. Also, you'll learn scales that not only will help you develop good technique, but you'll also be able to use them for soloing and melodies.

Learning songs
We will help you learn your favorite songs. Bring the cd, Mp3 player or tape into class. We'll figure it out and show you how to play it.

Music theory
Learn about keys, scales, triads, 7th chords, tensions and the relationship of them all. This is especially important for the advanced player that is ready to move to the next level in their playing.

Technique
Developing good technique will help you to play faster & cleaner. We will give you the ability to produce certain sounds from your instrument that all the pro's are using.

Ear training
Imagine being able to listen to a song and know exactly what the musician is playing. That's the goal while ear training. It also includes developing the ability to hear your own melodies and chord progressions and being able to note them on paper.

Sight Reading/ Charts
Ever wish you could read music? We'll show you how with an easy approach. Learn how to read melodies, chord charts, drum notation.

Arranging
Learn how to structure a song by knowing, what instruments to include, the order and length of parts, how to note what you're hearing, etc.
